EMAIL LIST

Now what?
Make a monthly plan! If you’re unsure where to start when building out your email content plan, here are five (5) emails you can send this month:

1. BRANDING – “FROM [YOUR NAME] DESK”

Ideas: Share something fun that ties to your industry, behind the scenes look, what you’re working on or your favorite recipe & why.

2. FEATURED ITEM (IF APPLICABLE)

Ideas: Share more about a menu or store item – why is it popular, what are your customers saying about it so far, why do you like it, share a random fact.
3. UPCOMING EVENTS
Ideas: Feature your events for the month & include the link in a list format, share your event flyer with clickable links or pick 3 events you want to highlight in-depth showcasing past photos + exclusive information.
4. WHAT’S NEW
Ideas: Give an exclusive first look to your email list of your new product/item/service, give an offer exclusive to your email list.
5. LEAVE A REVIEW
Ideas: Ask your subscribers for a review on a platform of your choice (Facebook, Google, etc) – let them know how much this helps your business! Offer an incentive, if possible.
You’re ready to rock!

BRANDING

Every business should have this on their marketing plan!

Why?
Branding tells about who you are as business. Your values, what’s important to you and why + it establishes connection!
Most importantly, it builds trust. If you don’t have that, what do you have?
Here are a few questions to get you started when thinking about making a ‘branding’ post:
  1. How would you describe your business in one word?
  2. What are five (5) things you want people to know about you/your business?
  3. What is your favorite memory growing up?
We also recommend taking your industry into account when creating branding content. For instance, if you own a boutique, share your favorite item in the store or your go-to wedding guest outfit.
